My small successes seem very selfish this week, but as Jen said, this isn’t a season to grit your teeth and get through, it’s a season to LIVE through.
- I got my hair cut. Very stylish and short. Cool for summer and unable to put in a ponytail. It’s the first hair cut I’ve gotten since January. And my favorite stylist just lowered her prices so maybe I can fit it in more often!
- I bought a TON of new clothes! I got rid of all my old clothes that I didn’t like, didn’t fit (bigger & smaller), couldn’t nurse in, etc and had about 20 things left, very few of which coordinated. So I went to Old Navy and bought EVERYTHING on their website I thought I might like. Yes EVERYTHING. And it still only set me back about $250.00. I’m sending back about half of it, but still have a bunch of new stuff left. Very exciting :). I hate feeling frumpy…it affects my attitude about everything.
- I got the storage under the stairs purged and re-organized. I’m almost ready to start pricing yard sale stuff. I’ll post pics of the massive pile before I start pricing it–it’s more impressive that way.
