May Crowning, Mass & Merton: 50 Reasons I Love Being Catholic is another great book by Liz Kelly. Kelly divides her reasons into several sections including Objects with Meaning, Those Who Journey with Us, Devotion in Practice and Rhythms of the Faith.
I’ve read books about favorite things about being Catholic before and what I really liked about this one was the amount of knowledge I learned from it. Not only does she cover more common things such the Rosary, Adoration, Confession and Ash Wednesday, but she also includes things such as The Pieta and the Swiss Guard. I have a list of things that I want to learn more about!
She explains the beauty and wonder of these 50 reasons so well that I would not only consider this a good book for Catholics who want to deepen their faith, I would also recommend as an apologetics book for those who THINK they dislike the Catholic faith.
