I did get to these books on my list from last month:
- Fearless by Max Lucado (Thomas Nelson)
- Read & Share Toddler Bible (Thomas Nelson)
- Dawn’s Prelude by Tracie Peterson (Bethany House)
I added these (to review):
- May Crowing, Mass & Merton (Loyola Press)
- Dancing With My Daughter (Loyola Press)
- Amish Peace
I also finally finished Don’t Let Me Go. It’s my *ahem* powder room read so I kind of forgot about it until I finished it. It’s been in there for a good 4 months :). Good book, but not a keeper (keeper’s = 5-star in my library and I buy it for others. VERY few of those).
Next month, my plan is to read (and review):
- Art of Disappearing
- Plain Promise (Thomas Nelson)
- Simple Acts of Moving Forward (Loyola Press)
- Be Holy (Catholic Company) — carry-over from last month.
I have more in my backlog, but there are a lot of fairly weighty books and I don’t think I can do more than one of them at a time and do them justice.
I WAS working my way through the Chicken Soup for Mothers and Daughters, but I just wasn’t into it. I decided to just stop. I have enough books to read without wasting time reading bad books that I DON’T have to review.
Find out what others are reading at 5 Minutes for Books!

Dancing With my Daughter also looks wonderful. I popped over and read your review of that. I’ll definitely want to remember that one! Thanks for sharing about it.
