One of my favorite things about being pregnant is that my food stickler husband allows me a little more leeway about what I eat. Left to my own devices, I tend to eat a lot of junk and I’m grateful that he is there to keep me from ballooning out of control.
But I am allowed more dairy in the form of ice cream and milkshakes to try to cram in all the dairy that is needed :). Whoo-hoo! But I hate the brain freeze that I get when I eat it too fast!
How do you get rid of brain freeze? Isn’t that a world secret? Maybe so, but I’ll tell you. Just don’t tell anyone I told you.
*stage whisper* Put your tongue on the roof of your mouth.
Yep, that’s all there is to it folks. It doesn’t take very long, it’s easy and you always have the cure handy.
And that little tip, Works For ME!!
Brain Freeze
20 October 2009 at 12:37 AM (15 years ago)Your tip in dealing brain freeze is relevant and effective. Usually, whenever I have a brain freeze I used to cover my nose and mouth with the hands while breathing which really speeds up the warming process or drink water which is kept in room temperature. Both these process works well in my case.
