Well, I’ve learned a something in the last 10 days since my first official weigh-in. First is that even though I only eat garbage on weekends, I ate a LOT of garbage that first weekend. And I had a baptism this last weekend at my house. With a bunch of leftovers. Luckily I have a huge freezer.
I’m still having trouble with snacking. I don’t have much for leftovers, I try to eat REAL food and so I don’t eat nitrates or stuff with MSG (usually). Since Itty Bitty has a dairy sensitivity that’s out unless I want to make her miserable (I’ve tried several times 🙁 ). So what in the world do I eat? I’m not a raw veggie fan (carrots are about it), nuts get old quick and aren’t that filling. I also have an overabundance of yeast (i.e. no sandwiches, bagels, etc.) so I try to avoid that. And the apples are already starting to get to the point where they aren’t very good anymore.
Ideas? Miracles? Help a girl out!
On the plus side, my back is mostly better so I’m going to be able to start exercising this week. On my agenda? Light cardio (Leisa Hart Post-Natal Workout DVD) WITHOUT Itty Bitty in the sling.
