Over the last few weeks, I haven’t purchased much.

During the first week, I only bought apples, grapes, bananas, bread, yogurt, apple cider, taco shells & tortillas. The first two weeks meals were mostly according to plan. I decided to divide my lasagna into two and freeze half of it. As a result we got subs delivered on leftover night. We also ate at my MIL’s on Saturday.

The second week, I bought bananas, milk, apples, goat’s milk, potatoes, tangerines, frozen veggies for alfredo, bread, and cauliflower for home.   I also bought tons of food for Itty Bitty’s baptism Sunday, so we had some yummy stuff leftover.   That isn’t included in the list above.

According to plan, mostly.  Had in-laws over unexpectedly on Monday so instead of tacos we had taco mac n cheese to stretch it further.  We also had subs on Thursday because there wasn’t much for leftovers–we’d been eating them for lunch :). The French toast casserole I thought we would eat Friday turned out to be hashbrown casserole.  So I added pancakes from the freezer & eggs.

I SO need to do this, as well. Just started yesterday with pork roast, beans & cornbread. Made us feel like cowboys.

I feel like we’ll be doing this for MONTHS! Like until we move. Who wants to move a bunch of food 2000+ miles? Ugh.
