This month, I’m going to continue my pantry challenge.  There are some big changes coming to the Steed house — I’m hoping the house sells by fall and so I’m getting ready to severely downsize.    I’m purging & using up & going minimalist!

My February meal plan:

1- chili dogs, fries, veggies
2- polynesian Pot Roast (carry over from last month) – pg. 40
3- beef n noodles (ditto)
4- turkey & all the trimmings
5- hot turkey sandwiches + leftovers
6- Turkey Soup, homemade bread
7- lasagna, salad
8- pan fried pork chops, potatoes, veggies (2)
9- Jambalya
10- leftovers
11- salmon patties, orzo, veggies
12- pizza
13- philly cheese steak sandwiches, chips, raw veggies
15- Salisbury Steak, mashed Potatoes, veggies
16- pasta primavera
17- eggs, potatoes, toast
18- pizza
20- tex Mex turkey casserole – pg.77
21- pineapple beef stir fry – pg.32
22- country fried steak – pg.27
23- BBQ spareribs, fries, veggies, corn bread – pg.112
24- leftovers
25- american fries, eggs, pancakes
26- pizza
27- cornbread turkey bake – pg. 112
28- enchiladas
This month I scoured a new cookbook for some recipes.   It’s the Taste of Home Dinner on a Dime Cookbook (that’s what the page #’s are for).  I love Taste of Home–I’ve been reading them since high school & it’s where my fab brownie recipe came from!
