One of the things I love about homeschooling is the ability to be flexible. Lil’ Bit spent a few days with Grandma & Grandpa last week and I had cleaning to catch up on so we will split the week over two.
Last week, we talked about 4 of the 5 senses in Little Saints Preschool. We also talked about the 10 commandments but I don’t think much sunk in. Luckily it will covered 2 more times :).
We did a lot of extra pirate activities in preparation for International Talk Like A Pirate Day. It helped, too, that I got all that printed & then my printer broke. We skipped “C” for the week.
We also went to ‘school’ at the Nature Center where she learned about Sunflowers & seeds.
She also LOVED the long red rods, although I’m thinking she is too old for those, too. Any ideas for what to do with them?
This week we talked a little about the last sense–touch. When she comes back from Grandma’s (probably Saturday) we will finish our weekly reader, do our musical instrument & artist study, and work on the Alphabet Virtues worksheets.
